The Skype/phone consultation process is the same as an in clinic consultation with the added benefit that you can have your consultation from the comfort of your own home, from work or whilst travelling! Skype/phone consultations offer flexibility for those clients who simply can not make it into the clinic, for whatever reason but would really love to have a naturopathic consult.
After booking your appointment time you will be emailed your 'welcome pack', this includes important forms and questionnaires for you to complete prior to your appointment. This will help your practitioner streamline questioning during the initial case taking process so you may get the most out of your appointment session.
An initial consultation is split into two separate appointments. Allow 60 minutes for the first appointment. A thorough case will be taken throughout this time, as well as any recent pathology results looked over, current medications and/or supplements reviewed and a physical examination by way of tongue and nail analysis and/or other aspects of physical health discussed.
A second appointment is then made and this will be when your practitioner will discuss with you your personalised treatment plan that has been thoroughly researched and designed specifically for your health and wellbeing goals and expectations. Pathology requests, any prescriptions (nutritional and/or herbal) and dietary and lifestyle guidance will also be discussed. Allow 30 minutes for this consult. You will be emailed a copy of your personal treatment plan and a hard copy will also be posted to you along with any supplements or other medications purchased.
Not sure if a naturopathic consultation can help you? Go ahead and call or txt to set up a complimentary chat with Rachel to discuss any queries and find out what to expect from a consult. After this the initial consultation is $155 for the full 90 minutes.
* Please note | Skype and phone consultations do attract a slightly higher fee to cover the cost of postage for your treatment plan to be sent and the required time it takes to email your treatment plan.
Follow-up appointments are recommended and may be suggested fortnightly or monthly in order to discuss symptom changes and progress, reassess your treatment plan, review or request pathology testing, review dietary intake (a diet diary may be completed and emailed to your practitioner) to analyse and identify possible problematic foods and discuss lifestyle issues that may be affecting your physical and emotional well-being.
If you have any further questions or would like to know more about the Skype/phone consultation process or what to expect from your appointment please don't hesitate to contact the clinic here. I'd love to hear from you! xx
